The thing that makes each one of us unique as therapists is obviously the amalgamation of our life experiences. I can honestly say no experience has been wasted even if it wasn’t pleasant at the time!
Unlike other regression therapies Past Life Therapy is not hypnosis and nor is it necessary to believe in past lives. Instead, all that is required is an open mind and the willingness to use metaphor as a way to bring unconscious processes to light.

Why should you take time out to have a treatment? Life is busy and there are great demands on you from work, studying, traveling, household chores and family needs. Surely there are more important things to do than indulge oneself with a treatment........?

Dance has been an integral part of my life since I was a small child. I found such joy and freedom within it that I was hooked from the early age of three. Looking back, what I now see is that through dance, I found an inner calm, stillness, and an ability to connect with the universe as a whole.

Juanita - Counsellor Dip. DMP/Regression therapist, Ancestor & Spirit consultant

Juanita uses various techniques to help clients these range from her mediumistic abilities in identifying clients ancestors as being the source of issues or working with the earth energies to help clients remove harmful energies from their homes or having clients explore their past lives to using more conventional psychotherapy means. As a trained counsellor, Juanita has over 10 yrs experience of "talking therapy" with many hundreds of clients. Past Life Therapy called Deep Memory Process (DMP) differs from more conventional counselling and psychotherapy in that it focuses on physical sensations rather than clients thinking and talking about their issues.

The regression therapy works on the basis that "the body remembers" and that our physical body today may be carrying memories of trauma from previous lives. The DMP process uses psychodrama to enable clients to release the "unfinished business" that they may be carrying in their body, thus enabling healing to take place more quickly than with other therapies. DMP is a creative synthesis of Jungian active imagination, psychodrama, spiritual psychology, Shamanic healing, Reichian body therapy and transpersonal psychology.

This can be an effective way to deal with physical pains in the body that seem not to respond to other treatment. It can also deal effectively with phobias of many different sorts as well as with obsessive behaviour and with patterns of behaviour that recur throughout our life.

PAST LIFE THERAPY

Do you experience unexplained fears, phobias or anxiety?

Do your relationships repeatedly fail?

Do you have repeating illness or conditions that recur for no reason?

Do you suffer from post traumatic issues/ symptoms?

Do you lack purpose in your Life ?

Do you feel as if your life is not your own ?

Unlike other regression therapies DMP is not hypnosis and nor is it necessary to believe in past lives. Instead, all that is required is an open mind and the willingness to use metaphor as a way to bring unconscious processes to light.

Past Life Therapy differs from other "talking therapies" in that it focuses on physical sensations and emotions and rather than clients thinking about their issues.

DMP uses psychodrama to enable clients to release the "unfinished business" that they may be carrying in their body. For this reason clients are invited to work on a mattress on the floor to enable freedom of movement.

1. Example Past Life case:

Jane had chronic lower back pain that she described in the Past Life regression sessions "I feel as if I have been stabbed in my back with two knives repeatedly and the physical pain takes my breath away".

During the sessions Jane remembered a Past Life story of being a French medieval soldier on the losing side of a battle, fighting to stay alive while being attacked by the enemy. He was in close hand to hand combat. Whilst focusing on the attackers at the front he suddenly felt himself stabbed in the back and in shock he moved backwards.  He was stabbed again and dropped to the ground where he died.

Exploring the life and the death of the man brought healing and release for Jane. Several weeks after her final session Jane reported that to her amazement her lower back pain had gone.

2. Example past Life Case:

Linda had a history of unsatisfactory relationships with men in her life. Despite being attractive, intelligent and outgoing Linda found it hard to attract men and when she did she discovered that a pattern would recur. She found that she was doing all the giving in the relationship and that she was getting very little in return. Her friends would feel angry on her behalf about how she was being treated but Linda could never feel that anger for herself. Instead she felt that there must be something wrong with her, that somehow she was not worthy of being loved. She then had several sessions working with Past Life Regression and discovered that she had had many previous lives during which she had been used and abused by different men in various different situations. Linda realised that her feelings of being unworthy and unloveable had been carried over from those previous lives and that the story of being used and abused was still being played out in her current life. Once she understood that and began to know that those feelings did not belong to her, Linda was able to start having more fulfilling relationships.

The main aim of any of the techniques or therapies Juanita uses is to help resolve the clients issues where ever they stem from - this life, childhood, past lives, ancestors, from attached lost spirits or earth energies.
